Who We Are
Meet The Founder
Adeola immigrated to the United States at the age of 15 from Lagos, Nigeria. After earning her degree from Howard University, she worked as a retail store manager to fund her law school education. Upon graduating from law school, Adeola launched her legal career at the New York City law firm of Kaufman, Borgeest & Ryan LLP, and would later join Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold, LLP as a Senior Associate. Adeola thrived as an employment defense attorney and insurance coverage counsel, successfully representing global and domestic clients in motion practice, trials, mediations and arbitrations.
Adeola honed her risk advisory skills at Marsh & McLennan and WTW, two leading global risk management advisory firms, where she held executive leadership roles and advised Fortune 500 and mid-size companies on their employment practices and cyber liability risks. In these roles, Adeola earned recognitions as an industry innovator, strategist and thought leader.
Driven by her passion for supporting nonprofits and mission-driven organizations, Adeola founded Adele Law in 2019. With extensive experience as a board member and volunteer, she combines legal expertise with insights in governance and risk management. This unique blend allows her to tackle the challenges faced by organizations, offering tailored solutions that foster both immediate results and long-term impact.

Client Testimonials
Our Happy Clients
Yvonne Cummings, Board Chair, IMPACCT Brooklyn
It was great having Adeola as our outside general counsel. The organization benefited immensely from the excellent insights and direction that she provided.
Valerie Payne, Executive Director, Rebuilding Together NYC
Adeola guided us through a sensitive employment matter. She was incredibly supportive throughout the process and made sure we did everything we could to minimize risk to the organization. I highly recommend her and would definitely work with her again.
Srna Klotz, Dancer, Founder & Artistic Director- Ô’tänamos
Forming a non-profit focused on dance as a form of therapy was always a dream of mine. Adeola didn’t just help me navigate the legal process, she helped me bring that dream to life. From our very first consultation to the final filing of Ô’tänamos, she handled everything with the highest level of professionalism. She prepared all the initial board documents, guided us through our first board meeting, and ensured that every step was done thoroughly and thoughtfully.
What stood out just as much as her expertise was her warmth and genuine care. She never rushed me, no matter how many questions I had—big or small—and always took the time to explain things clearly and patiently.
I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in need of a knowledgeable and highly skilled attorney, and have complete confidence in the quality of her services.
